My sister got married a few...years ago. At the time, she lived in Florida, so the actually coordinating the event fell to my Mom and I. We had a great time dreaming this up, and surprisingly, the amount of overlap between coordinating an event and a renovation is insane. The things we install into homes aren't held together with floral wire and hot glue....but, it is similar. The event was gorgeous, and made me believe that as soon as I'm ready for a second career, floral designer might be at the top of the list.
